In a prison near Paris, a man is overwhelmed by the memory of his young years. The sweet scent of his native Algeria returns to him. Very quickly, the souvenir of his happy childhood gives way to darker memories : the rise of fundamentalism in Algeria, his flight to France with his parents, his arrival in a difficult suburb near Paris. From disappointments to disillusionments and lack of references, he sinks into violence. Yet raised in love and understanding towards others, he withdraws into himself and drowns in a radical Islam... He knows that there is no fatality : he could have chosen another path. At a crossroads, he felt into hatred.
